A question often asked by our tandem guests, which Dominik and Tobi answer with a short report on their spontaneous trip to the land of croissants.

At the beginning of September, a call from Dominik in Chamonix. The weather situation looks promising for a paragliding launch from the summit of Mont Blanc. In excited anticipation, I knock on the door of my teammates, who promptly have my back for this rather spontaneous idea.

There is no other place in the Alps that I associate with so many intense and varied experiences as the mountains around Chamonix. As a mountain guide, I have often been able to share the summit happiness of Mont Blanc with others. This tour has never lost its appeal for me, each ascent stood on its own. Going out with Tobi, taking time together and living the fascination for this place with a friend is a special experience for me.

THE PARAGLIDERS
IN THE BACKPACK
True to the motto “The stupidest farmers have the biggest potatoes” (the summit altitude and the associated meteorological conditions rarely offer suitable starting conditions), we were able to glide off the summit at half past seven in the morning in the best conditions.
The granite needles, bathed in sunlight, mark our flight path over the Bosson Glacier to Chamonix in an impressively natural way.
The joy of our little adventure is beyond words. Grateful to be able to experience this sensitive corner of the world in this way, we take the impressions home with us as a treasure.

From 25.11. to 08.12.2024 we are available daily by phone, e-mail and Whatsapp and can always be met in person at the tandem office on Mondays from 9 am – 5 pm.
From 09.12.2024 we will be open again daily from 9 am – 5 pm. The winter season starts on the Nebelhorn on 14.12.2024.
