Flying has always been his life! His passion for aerodynamics and flight physics was already apparent as a teenager, and he made his first mark by winning the German model aerobatics championship! Along the way, he developed his own models, which are still being sold successfully today. Manu obtained his paragliding license at an early age and immediately entered the competition with great motivation and success. After a short time, he was able to win the German championships, the paragliding league and many other competitions. He set another milestone in 2013 with a World Cup victory in Turkey. This motivated him to sign up for the toughest paragliding competition, the Red Bull X-Alps. His four successful participations make him one of Germany’s best-known paragliders today.
As a good friend of Tobi’s, Manu not only contributed his many talents as a tandem pilot, but also volunteered to help organize the fledgling paragliding tandem company vogelfrei. Tobi appreciated Manu’s entrepreneurial qualities and so it was inevitable that he would become co-owner of vogelfrei a year later, in 2013. Since then, the two have been pulling in the same direction. The team was completed in 2016 with Schelli, who, with his more than 20-year-old company Flyzone – Tandem Flying with Professionals, brought with him another good dose of experience and a host of experienced pilots. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
